Designated Sender
This proposal defines a new type of DNS record called a designated sender. Basically, it's a mechanism to allow machines that receive email to check to see if the sending email address is forged or not. Should this RFC be approved and adopted by a couple of the large email ISPs, it will quickly reduce the amount of spam in the world. And that's a good thing.
