MySQL
I was probably a little too harsh on MySQL in yesterday's post. It's not a bad package for what it is. I think my too negative opinion of MySQL is based somewhat on a reaction to all the too positive opinions of MySQL. Lots of people run it, including Yahoo. It's just, for something as hyped as MySQL, it has many deficiencies.
