You offer suggestions and we listen! One feature which list moderators have been asking for is the ability to disallow attachments from their lists. Another asked for feature is the option for new subscribers to be moderated by default. As part of our recent upgrade, we now offer both of these features.

Sharing Information about Shared Files

Are you using the Shared Files feature to its fullest potential? Shared files are a popular feature on ONElist, but nonetheless one which we've been receiving some questions about, so we thought we'd help out:
Did you know that you can use shared files to:
...build a library of photos, graphics, documents, spreadsheets,
presentations, etc. for your community? Did you know that you make these
files accessible to the whole group, just moderators, or just certain
members of the list?
...automatically send messages to your list on a regular basis (bi-weekly
or monthly)? This is great for FAQs, reminders, etc.
...automatically send messages to users when they subscribe, unsubscribe,
are pending subscription and are rejected from subscription to your list?
Shared files is a powerful and versatile feature which you can use make managing your community easier and more informative for your subscribers.

Media Metrix figures rank ONElist the most visited e-mail list community

We're growing! The latest figures released by Media Metrix rank ONElist as the most visited e-mail list community Web Service*. Media Metrix, also reported ONElist as the 22nd largest Web Service, and number 230 of the Top 500 most visited Web sites (April 1999). Media Metrix numbers show that ONElist's industry ranking as measured by audience reach is more than twice the level of its nearest e-mail list community competitor.
