Email delivery for a small number of ONElist communities was delayed today due to a power failure at our service provider. Normally, this isn't an issue because of the redundant power backup systems in place to support the ONElist system. Our service provider is aware of our -- and your great unhappiness with this situation.
All systems are back up and functioning normally. Email may be delayed a bit while the backlogs are cleared. No email was lost.
I'd like to apologize for this situation. As part of our commitment to providing the best possible customer experience, we have designed the ONElist system to deliver email as quickly and reliably as possible. It is my job to make sure that we live up to that commitment.
